I'm doing a small school project. How does one create and manage Bitcoin wallets ?
Hi Bitcoiners ! I'm a developper doing a small school project. I need to create and manage users' Bitcoin wallets in my app, but I'm not sure how to do it. I've learned about the bitcoinJ library and its use cases but I don't know if it's enough and/or convenient enough for a Blockchain noob. It seems like you can create wallets, view balances, transact, and such. Not sure about how networking works, and I don't seem to find any exhaustive documentation about it either. Is there another open-source and free library that can create wallets and let me put my own GUI over it ? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks !
I made a lightning tutorial for Breez Wallet. TLDW; seamless swaps between main chain and LN, auto channel management, ability to connect to core node, all non-custodial, zero setup. Thumbs up IMO. (x-post from /r/Bitcoin)

Tax management is the killer wallet feature that would make me use Bitcoin at every opportunity
It isn’t an exciting technical solution. But what stops me from using ₿ is the hassle of dealing with taxes. If I had a wallet that would generate a report that would be immediately usable for filing and paying taxes I’d go hog wild. Unfortunately developers aren’t the most tax savvy people at all times. They are not excited to solve this problem. If you are a company work with a tax attorney or an accountant. If you are a small open source developer, be doubly excited to get the killer feature to your wallet and gain market share and cozy up to someone that would be excited to participate. The solution could be some file that can be digitally filed somehow. But there would be some satisfaction in printing out 10 pages and imagining an IRS employee having to review an endless stream of those. If there isn’t a digital solution now, one will materialize right quick. In some areas it is even possible to pay taxes in BTC. How cool would that be?

Newbie here: Is there a place where you can easily make small, 1-to1 trades (a dollar or less) of bitcoin for a paypal payment or something similar?
I've learned a lot over the past couple of days about how to manage bitcoin wallets, etc. and have set up electrum and blockchain wallets, but obtaining bitcoin has been a real hassle. Someone was kind enough to send me $1.25 unsolicitied yesterday, but I'm still like 10 cents short of what I need to make a simple purchase (I did not realize what the transaction costs would be) and I just want to go somewhere and buy like 0.50 USD worth of bitcoin. Is there a simple way to do this? I found one site yesterday that looked like it might, but they wanted all of my personal information and I was not about to give that out.
A security precaution I have spread my bitcoin in several wallets, but it is becoming difficult to manage transactions, amount in all of these different wallets. Is there a way, maybe an app or website, where I can integrate my wallets public information and monitor transactions from a single screen
This is a problem that appears on different Linux distro's and it's simply not opening up any of the Ledger Apps and desktop wallets, whether it's NEON Wallet, Ledger Manager, Bitcoin Wallet, or the Ripple Wallet. All works well for Windows, but Linux seems to be complicated. Any help is appreciated.

Hey, I'm looking for a solution to automate payments in bulk from multiple wallets to multiple wallets. I found read-only solutions like this (https://github.com/unwritereadcash) but nothing to schedule payments. Ideally I would be able to import private keys from multiple wallets and pay to some specific wallets. Thanks
